Detailed Program
Day 1 | Fortresses, the Danube, and Bohemian Belgrade
Journey through Vojvodina towards Belgrade.
The first stop is the Petrovaradin Fortress, often called the "Gibraltar of the Danube." A walk through the fortress, a panoramic view of the Danube, and an introduction to the artistic quarter.
Continuation of the journey to Belgrade, where we will tour the historic Belgrade Fortress and enjoy panoramic views from Kalemegdan Park.
In the evening, dinner and live music await us in the bohemian Skadarlija quarter, amidst cobbled streets and traditional restaurants.
Overnight stay in Belgrade.
Day 2 | The Drina Valley and the World of Rakija
After breakfast, we depart towards Western Serbia.
In Bajina Bašta, we visit a traditional rakija distillery to learn about the production of fruit brandies and enjoy a tasting.
This is followed by a visit to the famous House on the Drina, one of the most recognizable symbols of Serbia.
Lunch next to the unique Vrelo River, also known as the "365-meter river" or the "Year River."

Day 3 | Museum Railway and Movie Worlds
The third day is dedicated to nature and time travel.
First, we visit the open-air ethno-museum in Sirogojno, where memories of traditional Serbian village life come alive.
Next, we tour Stopića Cave, one of Western Serbia's most famous natural attractions, renowned for its large limestone pools.
One of the highlights of the day is a ride on the legendary Šargan Eight railway, which passes through tunnels, over bridges, and along impressive mountain landscapes.
A visit to Drvengrad, the famous film village of Emir Kusturica, where wooden architecture and an artistic atmosphere create a unique ambiance.
Return to accommodation, overnight stay.
Day 4 | Drina Canyon and an Excursion to Bosnia
After breakfast, a cruise through the Drina Canyon awaits us.
Sailing along the emerald-green river between monumental cliff faces, we will enjoy a unique natural experience.
During the program, we cross into Bosnia and Herzegovina to visit Višegrad and the famous Bridge of Mehmed Paša Sokolović, made world-famous by the work of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić.
A walk through the unique stone town of Andrićgrad.
Return to the vicinity of Bajina Bašta with free time in the evening.
Day 5 | Art Nouveau Subotica and Returning Home
On the way back, we take a break in Subotica, one of the most beautiful cities of Hungarian Secession.
A walk between the Town Hall, Raichle Palace, Korzo, and other landmarks of the historical center.
The atmosphere of the city of writer Dezső Kosztolányi serves as the perfect conclusion to this Balkan circular tour.
