3️⃣ Danube Street and Danube Park – civic elegance and green oasis
We continue along Danube Street, one of Novi Sad’s oldest streets:
- past houses of former merchants and citizens
- now a charming pedestrian zone
From here, we reach Danube Park, where we:
- take a short break
- discuss Novi Sad’s relationship with the Danube
4️⃣ Petrovaradin Fortress – the guardian over the Danube
The highlight of the tour is the Petrovaradin Fortress, often called the Gibraltar of the Danube.
