During the tour, we:
- explore the legendary military tunnels and catacombs of the fortress
- learn about sieges, secret strategies, and myths surrounding the stronghold
- then, walking through Novi Sad’s city center, discover the contrast of its Art Nouveau architecture, cultural life, and urban elegance

1️⃣ Petrovaradin Fortress and Catacombs – The World Beneath the Danube
The first part of the program takes place in Petrovaradin, where we:
- enter the fortress’s secret underground tunnel system
- walk through approximately 1 km of catacombs
- learn about everyday military life, defense systems, and legends
The guide shares stories about:
- historic sieges and battles
- secret passages and traps
- the strategic importance of the fortress during the Ottoman–Habsburg period
Above ground, we:
- admire the iconic Clock Tower
- enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Danube and Novi Sad

After the fortress, we continue to Novi Sad’s city center, where:
- we explore the heart of the city on a guided walking tour
- stroll among Art Nouveau and historic buildings
- hear stories about the city’s development, culture, and identity
During the city walk:
- we visit the main squares and streets
- there is time for photography and short free time
- there is an opportunity for a coffee break and relaxation
This final section offers a lighter, urban-style conclusion to the tour.
