​Subotica and Palić simultaneously offer a historic atmosphere, unique Art Nouveau architecture, and relaxation in a natural environment. During the program, you will not only get to know the most famous sights, but you will also experience local stories, gastronomy, and the authentic Bačka way of life.

Detailed program

Day 1 | Art Nouveau Subotica and Bačka Atmosphere

Arrival in Subotica in the morning hours.

The first stop of the program is the famous Subotica Flea Market (Buvljak), where absolutely everything is on offer – from a needle to a locomotive.

Following this is a guided tour of the historic center of Subotica. We will visit the impressive City Hall and the Art Nouveau Synagogue, as well as stroll past the Raichle Palace, through the Street of Old Crafts, and see the most beautiful buildings in the city center.

During the day, an authentic Bačka lunch awaits us in a local restaurant.

The afternoon is reserved for free time or optional activities.

In the evening hours, arrival at Palić and check-in at the accommodation.

Day 2 | Palić, Elegance by the Lake and Wines from the Sands

After breakfast, we get to know the most famous attractions of Palić.

A walk along the shore of Palić Lake, during which we will visit the Water Tower, the Grand Terrace, the Women's Strand, and unique details of Art Nouveau architecture from the beginning of the 20th century.

During the afternoon, it is possible to choose one of the optional activities:

• cycling around the lake
• sailing on the lake
• wellness and relaxation
• visit to the zoo

Later, we visit a local winery where we will get acquainted with the famous Vojvodina sand wines and the wine culture of the region.

We end the day with a pleasant dinner in a restaurant by the lake.

Day 3 | Farmstead Experiences and Return Home

After a light breakfast, check-out from the accommodation.

Before noon, there is time left for a final walk around Palić or, if desired, a visit to the Zoo.

As part of the farewell program, we go to an authentic farmstead (salaš) restaurant where homemade Bačka specialties, a peaceful rural atmosphere, and a tour of the estate await us.
